Gretna, Nebraska
This GOMACO GP3 is equipped with G+® controls and is slipforming a 25 foot (7.62 m) wide road with integral curb on one side. The GP3 is equipped with a 5400 series mold, 5400 series tie bar inserter (TBI), and telescoping end sections for width changes.

Odon, Indiana
This GOMACO GP4 four-track paver with Trimble 3D guidance slipforms a 26 foot (7.92 m) wide country road, and is equipped with a 5400 series mold and 5400 series tie bar inserter (TBI).

GOMACO’s two-track GP-4000 is paving passes 24 feet (7.3 m) wide and 15 inches (381 mm) thick on an interstate in Arizona. The GP-4000 is equipped with the 5400 series mold and three different bar insertion systems, including a front-mounted center bar inserter, two rear-mounted side bar inserters, and an IDBI that inserts the dowel bars for the transverse joint. The paver is also equipped with an Auto-Float attachment and burlap drag. There are two paver-mounted GSI® (GOMACO Smoothness Indicator) units to measure the smoothness right behind the paver.

This two-track GOMACO paver is equipped with G+ controls, a 5400 series mold, and Topcon 3D guidance, all working together to pave a highway. The paver has a burlap drag behind the mold, and is followed by a GOMACO T/C-600 texture/cure machine putting the finishing touches on the highway.

 

 

 

GP4 with RTP-500 and 9500

Williams, Arizona
A GOMACO RTP-500 and 9500 concrete placer work in front of a four-track GP4 paving 22 feet (6.7 m) wide on the I-40 Devil Dog project, replacing five miles (8 km) of the interstate’s eastbound lanes.

Windom, Minnesota
This GOMACO GP-2600 slipform paver is equipped with a 5000 series open front, auger forward mold and three 5400 series bar inserters. It was used to pour 28 blocks of city street with integral curb.

Australia
The GOMACO four-track Commander III with 3D machine guidance slipforms the floor of a tunnel at 14.7 feet (4.5 m) wide over continuous reinforced steel ahead of the paver. This Commander III is using high-rise tracks that are six inches (150 mm) wide, for minimum clearance.

This GOMACO four-track GP3 is equipped with two 5400 series bar inserters to slipform an interstate project. The 5400 series bar inserter is rear loading for quick and easy accessibility.

 

 

 

GP-4000

Fontana, California
A four-track GP-4000 slipforms four miles (6.4 km) of concrete on Route 30 in Fontana, California. The project was paved in three continuous sections to provide a new east/west artery into Los Angeles, California. The GP-4000 was set up to slipform 38.5 foot (11.7 m) wide passes, 11 inches (279 mm) thick, with over 123,000 cubic yards (94,041 m3) of concrete. The machine was equipped with GOMACO’s patented IDBI system for the placement of bars, and the GOMACO Auto-Float to automatically seal the concrete surface during the paving operation.

 

 

 

GP-4000

China
A four-track GP-4000, equipped with the IDBI dowel bar inserter, is slipforming the Meihe Highway in the Guangdong province of China. This mainline highway project is being slipformed at 29 feet (8.84 m) wide and 11 inches (279 mm) deep.

 

 

 

Commander III

Waterville, Ohio
Eight entrance/exit ramps on the U.S. 24 expansion project in northwest Ohio are being slipformed 16 feet (4.9 m) wide, 11.5 inches (292 mm) thick with a four-track Commander III and an independent IDBI attachment.

Gretna, Nebraska
The GP3 features the GOMACO roller frame and dual-telescoping capabilities for accurate frame widening. The GP3 has telescoping capabilities up to seven feet (2.13 m) on each side.

Simi Valley, California
This contractor slipformed 18 miles (29 km) of concrete roadway on the Highway 23 project in California. They used a GOMACO GP-4000 four-track paver with an IDBI dowel bar inserter to pave the new roadway.

Philippines
This 3.7 mile (6 km) long section of highway in the Philippines was slipformed with a two-track GOMACO GP-2400 paver.

Waxahachie, Texas
The four-track GP3 with 3D machine guidance slipforms ten feet (3.05 m) wide over continuous steel reinforcing, while the paver’s left side tracks run within inches (millimeters) of the barrier wall.

The GOMACO four-track Commander III slipforms a 12 foot (3.66 m) wide interstate ramp using 3D machine guidance. A GOMACO RTP-500 places the concrete over the steel reinforcement ahead of the Commander III.

This two-track GOMACO GP-2600 paver is slipforming a cul-de-sac with a 95 foot (29 m) inside radius. This machine is equipped with three frame-mounted bar inserters. The street in Wayne, Nebraska, is being slipformed full width with integral curb on both sides.

GOMACO paver

Spencer, Iowa
A four-track GOMACO paver slipforms a 34 foot (10.36 m) wide overlay and flying shoulders. In a single paving pass, it is slipforming two 12 foot (3.66 m) wide traffic lanes, a four foot (1.22 m) wide shoulder, and a six foot (1.83 m) wide shoulder. This paver is equipped with G+ controls, Leica Geosystems 3D guidance, a 5400 series mold with three power transition adjusters (PTAs), two GSI (GOMACO Smoothness Indicator) units, and a burlap drag to complete the finish on the highway.

Outriggers can be added to the two-track GP3 for transport loading and frame widening. With the addition of the outriggers, the GP3 can be raised and a truck trailer can be backed underneath the machine.

Austin, Texas
The four-track GOMACO GP-4000 is slipforming a toll road near Austin, Texas. The project was nearly 100 miles (161 km) of concrete paving with the roadway ranging from 40 feet (12.2 m) up to 64 feet (19.5 m) wide, and the majority of the concrete was 13 inches (330 mm) thick and paved over continuous steel reinforcing. The GP-4000 was set up to pave at three different paving widths, 18 feet (5.5 m), 22 feet (6.7 m), and 24 feet (7.3 m).

This four-track GP-4000 is equipped with the IDBI system and Leica Geosystems 3D guidance. This is a two-layer mainline paving project in the Czech Republic. Paving widths on this project range from 35 feet (10.7 m) to 40 feet (12.2 m). The total thickness of the two-layer slab is 12 inches (305 mm). GOMACO’s patented two-layer paving mold incorporates two-layer paving into a “single-mold design.”
